Shoprite: Entry level Admin Clerk
The Furniture Division of the Shoprite Group, Africa's largest retailer, currently has an exciting opportunity available to join our Furniture Online team. This opportunity will have you operating in a fast-paced furniture retail environment. If you have a good administrative background and great Excel skills, then this is the role for you.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively process Online Orders, Lay By's and Credit Applications
- Operate in a Call Centre environment to liaise with customers regarding their Online Order or Credit Application
- Communicating with customers, stores, DC’s and Courier Companies to ensure every customer is assisted
- Liaising with stores, DC’s, Buyers and Suppliers for orders, booking dates, stock availability, service calls
- Filing and General administration
- Must be willing to work shifts and excess hours due to our extended trading hours
- Must be willing to perform evenings and/or night work
- Must be able to work on weekends including Sundays and Public Holidys
Requirements:
Advantageous:
- Retail or Online experience will be advantages
Skills and Competencies:
- Computer Literacy (MS Office)
- Communication skills – both written and spoken
- Phone etiquette
- Understanding of an Online Shopping (E-Commerce) environment
