Department Of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO): Internships 2024 / 2025

 

The Department International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO) invites confident and dynamic unemployed individuals to participate in the General Internship and Cadet Programmes.

 

Stipend: R7 450.63 per month

Duration: 24 months contract

Cadet Programme 2025 - 2027

Reference No: Cadet Programme

Must have a 3-year NQF Level 7 qualification within the following fields:

  • International Relations,
  • African Studies,
  • Political Science,
  • Economics,
  • Law,
  • International Trade and Investment,
  • Political Economy,
  • Development Studies,
  • Development Economics,
  • Public Governance
  • Public Administration
  • International Relations

General Internship Programme 2025 - 2027

Reference No: General Internship

Must have a 3-year NQF Level 7 qualification within the following fields:

  • Tourism & Hospitality Management,
  • Supply Chain Management,
  • Human Resource Management
  • Public Administration.
  • Records Management
  • Information Science,
  • Graphic Design / Communications

 


Selection Criteria:

  • Must have the relevant qualification (see above)
  • Only first time Cadet, Internship or Learnership Programme applicants will be considered.
  • Only South African citizens between the ages of 18 - 35 years old on the closing date of applications are eligible to apply.
