uMngeni-uThukela Water: Learnership Programme 2025 / 2026
uMngeni-uThukela Water Training and Development Department with the support of the Operations Division offers a one year Water & Waste Water Treatment Learnership for twenty candidates who have successfully completed their Matric (Grade 12) with Mathematics and Science and who are interested in developing the skills required to work in the Water industry.
Requirements:
- Be unemployed
- Grade 12 / Matric with Mathematics and Physics
- Be youth up to the age of 35
- Must reside in deep rural of areas of uMkhanyakude District and uMzinto District Municipality in KwaZulu Natal
- Applicants living with disabilities are encouraged to apply
NB: This programme is not open to candidates who have completed any qualification at NQF level 5 and above
This progragramme is also strictly for applicants from the areas that are within uMngeni-uThukela Water (uMkhanyakude, uMzinto District Municipality)
