uMngeni-uThukela Water Training and Development Department with the support of the Operations Division offers a one year Water & Waste Water Treatment Learnership for twenty candidates who have successfully completed their Matric (Grade 12) with Mathematics and Science and who are interested in developing the skills required to work in the Water industry
The responsibilities will amongst others, include intense theoretical and practical training, attending classes, completing a Portfolio of Evidence (POE) and conducting practical work at the water treatment plants in the North East Region, located in Richards Bay and Jozini Water Treatment Plant.
Requirements:
- Be unemployed
- Have studied Mathematics and Science at Matric level
- Be youth up to the age of 35
- Must reside in deep rural of areas of uMkhanyakude District and uMdoni Local Municipality in KwaZulu Natal
