City of Tshwane: Work Experience Programme (Candidate Database)
Purpose: To create a database that will be used to appoint candidates or students in training for fixed-term contracts for work-integrated learning, experiential learning or internship in different fields of study.
Successful candidates will be appointed under a formal City of Tshwane student-in-training contract, with the following duration based on qualification requirements:
- University: 12 months
- Colleges (generic field): 18 months
- Colleges (technical field): 24 months
Requirements:
Students/candidates in the following categories can be accommodated in the City of Tshwane for work exposure:
- Final-year university students who have completed all academic modules except for the work-integrated learning component
- N6 certificate
- Three-year Diploma
- National Diploma
- Bachelor’s Degree
