As South Africa’s largest JSE-listed Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), Growthpoint owns and manages a diversified portfolio of over 490 high-quality commercial, retail, and industrial properties across South Africa, Australia, and Eastern Europe. Location: Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban.

• An 11-month experience that offers real responsibilities, impactful projects, and continuous learning across South Africa’s leading property portfolio.
• Valuable exposure to different teams, environments, and operations in off-site locations. These experiences, when they arise, are a great way to broaden your perspective and deepen your understanding of the property industry.
• As part of the journey, you will attend a role specific learnership to accelerate your development.

Responsibilities:

As a Growthpoint Graduate, you’ll be actively involved from day one. Your role is designed to challenge, inspire and equip you for a thriving career in the property industry. 

• Solve real problems: Apply your analytical mindset to improve service delivery and drive continuous innovation across our business.
• Communicate with impact: Craft reports, briefings, articles, and presentations that influence and inspire. 
• Support strategic implementation: Help bring sector-specific recommendations to life by monitoring progress and reviewing action plans.
• Deliver insightful business reports: Tailor your communication to different audiences, ensuring clarity, relevance and measurable outcomes.
• Build meaningful relationships: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, project groups and key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
• Be a proactive contributor: Engage fully in meetings, events and team activities, bringing energy, ideas and initiative.

Requirements:

We welcome graduates with qualifications in the following areas:

• Built Environment and Engineering: Degrees in Construction, Property Studies, Quantity Surveying, Building Science, Civil or Electrical Engineering.
• Information Technology: IT-related degrees with majors in Data Science, Informatics, AI, Robotics, or Computer Science.
• Management Sciences: Degrees in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or related BCom qualifications that support careers in HR.
• Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG): Qualifications that support sustainability, Environmental Science or Social Impact Strategy.
• Legal: Law graduates interested in corporate legal functions, compliance, and governance (excluding those pursuing attorney admission).
