Gold Fields: Internships (Cadet Programme)

As part of the South Deep Social Development Programme and the National Youth Employment Service (YES) initiative, we are offering a 12-month Cadet Program designed especially for unemployed youth who have never had formal work experience.

This is your chance to gain real workplace exposure, practical training, safety awareness and skills development while learning from experienced colleagues in the workplace. By the end of the program, you will be more prepared and marketable to step into a future career in or outside the mining industry.

Requirements:

• Be a Matriculated resident of one of the host communities listed below Or obtained Grade 12 at a host community school
• Currently unemployed and have no previous formal work experience
• Fluent in English – both spoken and written

Preference will be given to:

• Historically Disadvantaged South African (HDSA) youth aged between 18 and 34
• Youth who qualify as applicants from our host communities, which include:
