Transcend: Technical Analyst Internship Program 2026

We are seeking a detail-driven and analytical Technical Analyst to join our dynamic BEE Advisory team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, interpreting legislation, and supporting clients in achieving compliance with the B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice. The successful candidate will play a critical role in preparing accurate scorecards, analysing client information, and building audit-ready verification files.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and validate client data across all BEE elements (Ownership, Management Control, Skills Development, ESD, and SED).
• Prepare BEE scorecards, scenario models, gap analyses, and improvement strategies.
• Compile audit-ready verification files in line with B-BBEE Codes and sector-specific requirements.
• Support consultants with technical interpretations and regulatory updates.
• Engage with clients to clarify data requirements, evidence expectations, and timelines.
• Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy in calculations and documentation.
• Liaise with verification agencies during the audit process and respond to technical queries.
• Maintain internal tools, templates, databases, and compliance systems.

Requirements:

• Degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, Compliance, or a related field
• Prior experience in BEE Advisory, data analysis, compliance, or verification support (advantageous)
• Familiarity with B-BBEE evidence requirements and scorecard calculations.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong understanding of B-BBEE legislation and verification processes.
• Proficiency in Excel and data management/reporting tools.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly.
• Organised, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple projects.
• Problem-solving and critical-thinking capability.
