SANAC: HR Internships (HR, Psychology or Public Admin Graduates)
Purpose of the Role: To provide practical workplace experience in Human Resources through structured learning, supervision, and exposure to HR processes, while supporting SANAC’s HR operations and building professional skills for future employability.
Key Responsibilities;
- Support recruitment and selection administration, including interview scheduling and documentation
- Assist with employee onboarding and induction administration
- Capture and update employee records and HR systems
- Support training and skills development coordination
- Assist with payroll-related administration and record-keeping
- Support performance management administration
- Assist with basic employee relations processes (e.g. documentation, tracking progress, coordinating meetings)
- Support coordination of wellness days and employee wellbeing activities
- Assist with preparation of HR reports and filing
- Provide general HR administrative support to the HR Unit
Requirements:
- National Diploma/ Degree in: Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, Public Administration (HR-focused), or related field
- South African citizen aged 18 - 35
- Unemployed graduate
- Good administrative and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literacy (MS Office essential – especially Excel and Word).
- High level of attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Willingness to learn and a professional, positive attitude.
