About the Department

Mpumalanga Department of Culture, Sport and Recreation is a provincial government department responsible for promoting and developing arts and culture, sport, recreation, and heritage in Mpumalanga. The department supports community programmes, youth development, and talent identification initiatives aimed at preserving cultural heritage, encouraging active lifestyles, and fostering social cohesion across the province.

About the Internship

The Internship Programme is aimed at providing work experience/exposure to unemployed graduates. Applicants must be South African citizens and not have participated in an internship programme in any government/state institution. Successful interns will receive structured work exposure, training & development relevant to their field of study. Interns will be expected to enter into performance agreement under supervision of an experienced mentor.
