Position Overview

As a Bookkeeping Intern, you will gain hands-on exposure to accounting processes and assist with basic bookkeeping tasks under supervision. Duties and Responsibilities

• Enter supplier and customer invoices, as well as bank transactions
• Assist with basic bank reconciliations
• Support preparation of VAT returns and payroll under guidance
• Collect client documents and assist with preparing simple tax returns
• Upload trial balances and prepare basic financial statements
• Support stock counts, reconciliations, and other administrative accounting tasks

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate (NQF Level 4)
• Studying towards a BCom Accounting degree is advantageous
