ABSA Junior Learner / Intern (HR or Psychology Graduates)

Role Purpose

Absa Group is offering a learnership opportunity for graduates in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology.  The successful candidate will provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources team while gaining practical exposure across key HR functions, including Learning and Development, Recruitment, Employee Relations, and HR Operations. The role is designed to develop foundational HR skills and contribute to the effective delivery of HR services to the business

Responsibilities

• Workplace experiences: Attend and participate in all workplace experiences against agreed development objectives
• Learning: Attend and participate in all training and development interventions against agreed development objectives
• Ad Hoc duties: Provide support to customers and team as required to ensure team performance on an ongoing basis
• Administration: Effectively fulfil all required administrative duties, including tracking and reporting

Minimum Requirements

• Degree or Diploma (NQF 6/7) in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, or related field
• Strong administrative and organisational skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Clear Credit and Criminal record
