Internship Overview
On the Dot Supply Chain Management (Pty) Ltd, a division of Novus Holdings, seeks to appoint a diligent Finance and Admin Intern in the Finance Department. This position is based in Montague Gardens, Cape Town. This opportunity is ideal for a student who recently completed their studies towards a finance qualification and requires in service training/work exposure for a period of 12months.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The primary tasks, functions and deliverables of the role:
- Obtain and validate completeness and accuracy of reports used for the calculation of monthly payments to publishers.
- Calculate payments to publishers.
- Prepare and distribute remittance reports for review and payment.
- Process relevant transactions in the ERP.
- Prepare accounting reconciliations.
- Compile information requested by the internal and external auditors and the management team of On the Dot Supply Chain Management (Pty) Ltd.
- Perform selected controls regarding the publisher settlement process.
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc requests.
Educational Requirements
- Matric
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Knowledge of general accounting principles.
