Rentokil Initial: HR Internship Programme 2022
Role Purpose: To provide the HR department with administration support to enhance efficiency and control of internal HR processes and to champion the maintenance of personnel information.
Responsibilities:
- Organise, compile and maintain personnel records and related documentation eg beneficiary forms
- File employee records electronically and physically
- Perform general administration duties for the Human Resources Office
- Relay or direct employees queries about HR related issues
- Coordinate and maintain a filing system/matrix
- Participate in HR projects/ad hoc (as per HR Manager)
- Manage and maintain employee files
- Book meetings for the HR Team
Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric Qualification
- Certificate, degree, diploma or other relevant qualification in: Human Resources
Skills and Competencies:
- Good planning, organisational, analytical and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of principles and practices of office coordination
- Knowledge of basic principles and practices of record keeping
- Excellent command of the English language, including spelling, grammar and punctuation.
- Knowledge and principles of Human Resources Practices
- Must be customer focused / orientated – (internal customers)
- Ability to work in a team with minimal supervision
- Display initiative / be proactive
- Have integrity / be reliable
- Self-confident / assertive
- Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal as well as sound computer skills
- Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
- Organisation and planning skills
