We are looking for a talented Supply Chain graduate - 1 year placement contract to join our team specializing in Logistics for our Corporate/CBS segment in johannesburg, gauteng, south africa.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance to Trade Compliance Manager relation to trade compliance topics
- Assist in the implement internal policies that ensure trade compliance within the organization
- Support transport team on operational customs queries
- Understand the end to end processes of cross border trade and assist in identifying grey areas
- Assist with analysing monthly customs reports received from the clearing agent and Desmat system
- Assist in the tariff library clean up
Requirements:
- A Degree or Diploma in: Logistics, Transport or a related field
- Computer Literacy (strong computer and internet skills)
- Good Communication skills
- Analytical and detail oriented
