University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN): Human Resources Internship Programme 2022 / 2023
Responsibilities:
- The incumbent will be expected to learn and develop good understanding of human resources value chain from entry to exit.
- S/he will develop Human Resources generalist competences and gradually be able to provide support to HR Site Administration in providing administration of conditions and administration of staff benefits.
- S/he will be exposed to Human Resources consulting within the College and provision of best practice processes regarding recruitment, training and development, remuneration matters, change management, transformation and employment equity, organisational development, talent and performance management, employee relations, disciplinary matters, employee wellness and general human resources administrative duties.
Requied Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in:
- Human Resources
- Industrial Psychology
- or any other related qualifications
Personal Attributes Required:
- South African citizen below the age of 35 years;
- Good communication (verbal and writing)
- Interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure speedily and accurately
- Knowledge and understanding of Human Resources theories and best practices
