Northam Zondereinde Community Trust invites students to apply for the 2023 Bursary Programme 2023.

Northam Zondereinde are offering the following 3 types of bursaries:

The Northam Zondereinde External Bursary:

For studies within these fields:

• Analytical Chemistry
• Chemical Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Environmental Management
• Financial Management
• Human Resources Management
• Marketing and Communication
• Mechanical Engineering
• Metallurgical Engineering
• Mining Engineering
• Mining Geology
• Mining Survey
• Occupational Hygiene
• Safety Management
• Supply Chain Management/ Procurement

The Northam Zondereinde Community Trust Bursary:

• For students residing in the Thabazimbi Local Municipality and Moses Kotane Local Municipality.

The Northam Zondereinde Employee Trust Bursary:

• For employee dependents.

Requirements

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying:
 

The Northam Zondereinde External Bursary:

• You must be a South African citizen
• You must be currently in Matric or have completed Matric
• You must be studying or intend on studying towards one of the mining related qualifications listed above
• You must be studying or have been provisionally accepted to study, at a University or University of Technology in South Africa
• You must be a top-performing student
• You must achieve a minimum result of 60% for all subjects in Matric
• You must achieve a minimum result of 60% for all major subjects at tertiary level, if currently studying

The Northam Zondereinde Community Trust Bursary:

• You must be a South African citizen
• You must reside within one of these beneficiary communities:

1. Thabazimbi Local Municipality: Regorogile 1 and 2, Northam Ward 7 and 8, Smash Blockand Jabulani
2. Moses Kotane Local Municipality: Matlametlo, Mogwase, Ngweding, Lerome (Mositwane, Thabeng and Phola Park), Bojating, Sifikile, Lesetlheng, Moruleng (Greenside, Matangwaneng and Makresteng), Mononono, Mmorogong, Mantserre, Kraalhoek, Ga-Phadi/Pylkop, Ramokokastad, Welgeval, Manamakgotheng, Sandfontein, Disake, Ntswanalemetsing, Magong, Ligkraal, Ramasedi, Dikweipi, Mopyane, Mabele-a-pudi and Sekgakwaneg/ Sekgakwana

• You must be studying or intend on studying towards a qualification in ANY field (mining or non-mining)

The Northam Zondereinde Employee Trust Bursary:

• You must be a South African citizen
• You must be a dependent of a Zondereinde Employee (Category 02 – 10/ (B – C4))
• You must be studying or intend on studying towards a qualification in ANY field (mining or non-mining)
