Sanlam: Marketing Internship Programme 2022 / 2023

SA Retail Mass cluster offers a unique opportunity for young, enthusiastic and energetic persons, from the designated groups, to gain practical working experience in a corporate environment.

This internship will be hosted by Safrican Insurance Company and will be responsible for performing various administrative tasks and supporting our Marketing departments’ daily activities.

The internship programme is aimed at graduates and/ or postgraduates and offers:

• A 12-month contract
• A monthly stipend
• On the job training and assessment
• Continuous coaching and mentoring

Responsibilities:

• Performing market analysis and research on the latest trends to apply to our business needs.
• Assisting with daily administrative duties.
• Designing and presenting new campaign ideas.
• Monitoring all social media platforms for trending news, ideas, and feedback.
• Preparing detailed promotional presentations.
• Assisting in planning and hosting of marketing events.
• Researching and evaluating competitor marketing and digital content.
• Create and submit reports to senior management.

Requirements:

• 3-year Diploma in: Marketing Management or related qualification
• Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word,Excel etc.)
• Good command of English both oral and written
• Great attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills
