Optimi: Technical Support Internship Programme 2022 / 2023
Optimi is currently looking to hire an individual with exceptional communication and analytical skills to join our team as a Technical Support Intern. The ideal candidate should display the desired level of technical competency and be eager to learn.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose system related problems and where necessary escalate the problem to the relevant system providers.
- Support departments with system-related queries.
- Provide ongoing support on project solutions to operational teams.
- Work closely with the business analysts, devops team and developers to ensure the efficient resolution of problems.
- Identify areas for project requirements to address ongoing issues,
- Identify areas for upskilling operational teams to handle support queries, training of champions and automating resolutions.
- Provide general reporting on trends and productivity.
- Assist with report creation, interpretation and, where necessary, restructuring of data.
- Prioritize tasks while applying a systematic approach to problem-solving.
- Coordinate the required resources in the respective team to resolve issues effectively.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Final year student in:
- IT
- Engineering
- or related field.
- Proficient in MS Excel, SQL Server, MS Word.
- Well-spoken with a good command of English verbally and in written communication.
- Must be detail-orientated and analytical.
