Trace is searching for a talented and motivated event coordinator to organise outstanding and unforgettable events. You will be responsible for every part of event preparations and evaluating success afterward.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Arrange partnerships for events in Southern Africa such as live concerts, club events, awards shows.
- Ensure that the Trace brand is well-represented at all events
- Identify potential sponsors for all Trace events
- Identify market trends and customer needs
- Analyse events and identify gaps for
- Identify revenue opportunities for Trace
- Project manage events activities and campaigns with all internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain and update impeccable records of events metrics and results of post campaigns
- Actively participate in status meetings, report and strategy sessions
- Assisting in conceptualising, planning and executing of Trace events for the Southern African cluster (South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Lesotho, Zambia)
- Ensuring the marketing and sales business objectives of the organisation is fulfill
- Measuring and tracking the budget, attendance, performance, ROI of all events and activations undertaken
- Manage daily administrative tasks
Requirements:
- Marketing,
- Communications,
- PR
- or similar field
- Minimum of one year as an events and marketing coordinator
- Experience in administrative position will be added advantageous
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel and PowerPoint
- Well-organised and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving
- Excellent multi-tasking abilities
