Blu Dot ERP Solutions: Junior Sage X3 Business Systems Consultant

Blu Dot ERP Solutions provides Sage X3 business management solutions to both local and international companies. This is further complemented with other Sage products namely Sage 300 Cloud and Sage 300 People Payroll and HR (www.bludotsys.co za or www.sage.com/za). Our portfolio of services include, software sales, systems implementation, systems development (coding), project management and customer support via our helpdesk.

BLU Dot is looking for new graduates to be trained on the Sage X3 software and to ultimately achieve Sage X3 certified consultants status.

You will whilst attending structured training sessions also shadow one of the senior consultants to build your competency in using the Sage X3 software and initially assist with customer support to improve your systems skills.

As a future Sage X3 consultant the scope would be as follows:

• Implementation, setup and on-going support of the Sage X3 software.
• Conduct product and process training to customers.
• Creating and maintaining standard operating procedures and role-based specific user/training manuals.
• Planning and facilitating of user acceptance testing to ensure that system requirements have been fulfilled on projects.
• Data migration by extracting and verifying master data to be loaded into the new system database.
• Systems testing to match customer requirements and rollout of requested changes.
• Ad hoc report writing using Sage X3 business intelligence reporting tools.

Requirements:

• Recently qualified B.Com or equivalent with little or no experience.
• Strong alanytical, communication and quantitave skills.
• Team player and willingness to learn.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Basic knowledge of SQL or databases.
• Own reliable transport.
