Starke Ayres: General Workers

The following position of a General Worker became available in our Warehouse, at Starke Ayres, Kempton Park. The purpose of this position is to assist with all general duties within the Warehouse. 

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all seed / items that must be discarded is done according to correct procedure on a continuous basis / daily.
• Ensure that the incinerator is operated in the correct and safe manner.
• All seed / items that are discarded to be documented.
• Ensure to assist with the loading and offloading of all vehicles.
• Assists fellow workers with execution of tasks whenever own responsibilities have been executed and completed.
• Assists with the bi-annual as well as ad hoc stock counts/checks as per Warehouse Supervisor’s instruction.
• Ensures that work area/s are neat, tidy, organised and clean at all times.
• Assists with and adheres to security measures to ensure the safety of products, assets and facility.
• Acts responsible and professionally at all times, fostering goodwill and a positive image for the Company.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate (essential)
• General Worker experience (advantageous)
• Attention to detail
