Oxford University Press: Graduate Internship Programme 2024 / 2025
The intention is to give practical work experience to graduates who are in their last year of study and require exposure in a work environment. Successful interns will be expected to complete a 12-month contract commencing February 2025 and terminating in January 2026.
Responsibilities:
- Publishing end-to-end processes
- Editing and proofreading principles
- Book design and production
- Project management and scheduling
- Budget management
- Commissioning freelancers, contracts, rates
- Artwork sourcing (photographs and illustrations)
- Digital Publishing i.e. ePubs, online course material etc.
Requirements:
- Degree / Diploma in STEM related field (STEM refers to qualifications under Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics)
- South African citizen
- Access to reliable transport
- Computer literate in Microsoft Product suite
Skills and Competencies:
- Ability and willingness to learn: Have an open mindset and attitude to learn

- Initiative: Foster new ideas and solutions to projects and processes
