CSIR: SHE Internship Programme 2025
The CSIR has an internship opportunity for Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Implementation in the Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) portfolio. The purpose of this internship is to provide graduates with an opportunity to gain practical work experience through performing Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Implementation support (administrative and operational) functions. The position is based in Durban Offices.
Requirements:
- A three year National Diploma or equivalent in one of the SHE fields.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of SHE Management Systems.
- Knowledge of SHE regulatory framework e.g. OHS Act, NEMA etc., is an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong administrative and report writing skills.
- Computer literacy.
NB. All international qualifications require an evaluation report / certificate issued by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).
