The Internship Program will run for a period of 24 months

The following Internship Opportunities are open for applications:

Internship: Talent Acquisition & Recruitment 

• Degree/ Diploma in: Human Resources Management

Internship: Human Resources

Degree/ Diploma in: 

• HR / Human Resources Management
• Industrial Psychology

Internship: Innovation and Technology

Masters (MEng, MSc or MEng Tech) in:

• Engineering,
• Chemistry,
• Water Utilization and Environmental

Internship: Fleet Management

Must any of the following:

• Advanced Diploma – Transport Management / Logistics
• Bachelor’s Degree – Transport Management

Internship: Finance (Management Accounting)

Must any of the following:

• BCom Accounting
• BCom Cost and Management Accounting
• Advance Diploma in Management Accounting

Internship: Facilities Management

National Diploma / Degree in:

• Facilities Management
• Real Estate Management
• Business Management.

Internship: Development Control

• Diploma in Civil Engineering with practicals completed.

Internship: Communications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications

Internship: Metering and Revenue - Credit Mngt & Disconnections 

• Diploma/Degree in: Information Technology and Data Administration. 

Internship: Scientific Services (Microbiology)

• Diploma/Degree in: Microbiology / Biochemistry.

Internship: Stakeholder Relations 

Bachelor’s degree in:

• Social Science (Community Development)
• or Social Science (Development Studies).

Internship: Supply Chain

• Bachelor’s degree in: Supply Chain Management or B-Tech Logistics & Supply Chain

Internship: Scientific Services (Water, Analytical Chemistry)

Degree/ Diploma in:

• Analytical Chemistry
• Chemistry
• Applied Chemistry,
• Biotechnology

Selection Criteria:

• Must hold the relevant qualification
• Must be Unemployed
• Must be a South African citizens
• Must be between the ages of 18 to 35 years.

NB. Applicants who have benefited from a previous internship programme and have formal employment in any of the above fields will not be considered. Johannesburg Water will not make provision for transport and or accommodation to any candidate attending the interviews or any appointed candidate from or outside Gauteng Province.
