Webafrica is in search of a spunky, left-of-centre individual that is clued up on connectivity, the internet and is also able to provide phenomenal customer service. Note, there is obviously the aspect of billing customers when they make use of a service so you would need to know about this as well.

Requirements:

• Matric
• A+ Certificate or similar qualification is mandatory
• 1+ Year’ customer services experience within a Call Center/Billing environment
• 1 year technical and desktop customer services experience
• Excel experience (basic)
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills – English and Afrikaans
• Willing to work shifts (including weekends & public holidays)
• Reliable transport

Ideal requirements:

• Exposure to a Customer Service Scoring system (e.g. Net Promotor Score)

• Provide support to Webafrica Customer billing, technical and connectivity related queries via e-mail, telephonically, and instant messenger.
• Meeting email and call Targets.
• Router (incl wireless) configuration
• IS business DSL support
• Provide support to Web Africa end users via the phone, using remote desktop services or in person, and resolve IT support problems in a timely manner
• Answering of help desk telephone calls and ensuring that all ADSL support calls are logged correctly.
• Troubleshooting connectivity problems
