The Public Investment Corporation (PIC) invites students to apply for the 2023 Bursary Programme.
Fields of study:
Bursaries will be awarded for undergraduate studies within these fields, relevant to the financial sector:
- Accounting
- Actuarial Science
- Auditing
- Computer Science
- Data Analytics
- Economics
- Finance (Corporate & Investment)
- Human Resources
- Information Communications & Technology
- Internal Auditing
- Investment Management
- Law
- Mathematical Statistics
- Research
- Risk and Compliance Management
Requirements:
- You must be a South African citizen
- You must be under 30 years of age
- You must be currently in Matric or have completed Matric
- You must be studying or intend on studying full-time, towards an undergraduate qualification (NQF 6 or 7) in one of the fields listed above, in 2023
- You must be registered to study at an accredited institute of Higher Learning in South Africa
- You must be pursuing your first tertiary qualification in 2023
- You must an unemployed youth/ PIC dependents/ current PIC Bursary holders/ person living with a disability
- You must be in financial need
The bursary will provide cover for the following expenses:
- Tuition fees,
- Prescribed books,
- Accredited Accommodation (institutional)
- Meal Allowance.
Bursary recipients may also have the opportunity to apply for and participate in: the PIC Vacation-work Intern programme, the Graduate Development Programmes and the Workplace Readiness Programme.
