Your team responsibilities

The Investment Operations Analyst is responsible for maintaining Investment Book of Records (IBOR) data. Data is compiled by the examination and analysis of direct fund manager reporting and other sources. This information is compiled on behalf of institutional asset owner clients, who use the information to reconcile investment data, benchmarking and fund level performance analytics.

Your key Responsibilities:

  • Produce timely and accurate IBOR investment data under tight deadlines, managing competing priorities, and analyzing multiple inputs to meet operational objectives.
  • Research and analyze data exceptions whilst maintaining system and business controls to ensure data integrity.
  • Execute and analyze a wide variety of daily and periodical data reporting and quality control queries in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Perform root cause analysis of data errors and provide short-term and long-term solutions for issues, elevate issues when appropriate.
  • Monitor and ensure data quality by using existing business knowledge to create test cases and examine reports that ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Escalate issues when needed to the appropriate support team, ensuring that data issues are resolved efficiently and quickly.
  • Identify and escalate potential control gaps in a timely manner to ensure resolution and to decrease impact.
  • Assist with client onboarding by performing data reconciliations.
  • Effectively manage client specific mailboxes.

Requirements:

Your skills and experience that will help you excel:

  • Completed Bachelor’s Degree - Majors in Finance, Investments, Business Management, Economics, Information Systems preferred (Academic transcript will be requested). 
  • One year of relevant work experience preferred
  • Detail oriented analytical mindset.
  • Results-focused self-starter
  • Familiarity with MS Excel and MS Word
  • Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects and tasks. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
