Core Group: Supply Chain / Logistics Internship Programme 2024

Position Title: Supply Chain Coordinator - Graduate / Intern

The suitable individual will be responsible for the overall supply chain ensuring optimal customer service across iStore Africa, and Core Group Resellers as well as internal and external stakeholders.  Ensure that the logistics from Apple to CGS and then onwards to CGA resellers are managed in line with the SLA. Coordinating, planning, analysing and reporting on the supply chain activities within the CGA business to all relevant stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Management – SKU creation and maintenance. Review of the RTV process and overall order management.
• Understand and execute the process and complexity on export and import documentation.
• Ensure timely stock arrival and stock clearance.
• Type Approval/Certification – execute approval certificates per territory, both South Africa and African continent.
• Reporting – Stock stats reporting, aged stock reporting and weekly progress reports for OEM.
• Finance – Execution of Credit notes and preparation of payment packs.
• 3PP Planning for store – Weekly forecast to OEM ensuring that demand versus forecast are aligned. Accurately plan and execute stock levels in Africa aligned with agreed parameters.

Requirements:

• Completed Grade 12 / Matric
• Completed bachelor’s qualification in: Supply Chain, Logistics or Business is required.
• No previous experience required
• Passion for Supply Chain or Logistics
